DIA DE MUERTOS DINNER AND AUCTION 2017

Our annual event was held on October 28 this year.  It was a beautiful autumn day, while inside the Sequim Masonic Lodge the Mujeres’ board and volunteers were cooking, decorating and readying the auction tables. By 5:30, the space was so pretty and welcoming and tantalizing food odors were wafting out of the kitchen.    We couldn’t put on an event like this without all the volunteers that come help us. Our thanks go out to you.

Board members Molly Rivard and Steve Gilchrist took charge of the kitchen with their hard-working helpers, and the result was a delicious meal. Board members Cathy Van Ruhan, Martha Rudersdorf, Linda Finch and Judith Pasco arranged the auction and sales tables and set and decorated the tables.

Our silent auction had over 90 items and 5 tables specialized in handicrafts, clothing and ceramics from Chiapas.

We are so appreciative of all those who attended. Your generosity and support are uplifting, and the women and children in Chiapas benefit greatly.
